Hey, I’m Jonny Robertson. I’ve been with PWS Worksurfaces for over 11 years now, and I currently work as a shift manager. Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience and really enjoy being part of a team that takes pride in what we do. I like keeping things organised, solving problems on the go, and making sure everything runs smoothly during the shift.

Hi, I’m Paul Berryman and I’m the Head of Life Trade. I’ve been with the Danesmoor Group just over 9 years and have been in the KBB industry for 33 years. 

Throughout my career in KBB, I have always been passionate about product and manufacturing, but the most important thing I enjoy about working at The Danesmoor Group is the people. I am a firm believer in working hard but also ensuring that we have fun and I am proud to say that about my Team!

Hi, I’m Louise, and I work in the Marketing Department here at the Danesmoor Group. I support several of our brands, primarily within the trade sector, and often collaborate with teams across the business. I really enjoy working with different departments and getting to know the people behind each part of the organisation.

I’ve been in the business for 15 years, starting as a technical support for Solid Surface, then as a factory team leader. Moving on to life, where not only am I starting from the beginning in a small unit with just 3 others, but I am also starting my career once again. Once moving to unit 5 and having a new adventure, we had a production line that was new to the whole team, with its own challenges and obstacles. I was then once again promoted to pre-Assembly Team leader. As the manufacturing grew in size, I was lucky enough to become the Whole line team leader.

I've been with the company after graduating from Newcastle University. My role involves handling customer enquiries, quotes and sales across the North East and Central England. Working at PWS has been an extremely valuable opportunity for me as a University graduate. I really enjoy working with my team and working collaboratively with different departments. It is a great laugh and an extremely rewarding role as I feel I contribute heavily towards my own success and development. 

I’ve been with Danesmoor Agency for just over a year, where I manage the Sinks & Taps, Handles, and Carcass Components categories for the Danesmoor Group. I also represent our principal partners - Nobili, Alveus, Siro International, Metakor, Camar, Siro Bielsko, and SMD - across the UK. A key part of my role is ensuring we have the right products available for our customers across The Danesmoor Group, while also working closely with major industry clients to supply them with products from our principal partners.

I really enjoy working for Worksurfaces because it’s a business that’s constantly growing and evolving — and it’s rewarding to be part of that journey. Being involved in developing the company and seeing how collectively we continue to innovate, especially through the integration of automation into production, is something I’m genuinely proud of the team. What makes it even better is the people. I get to work alongside a talented and dedicated team, and over the years I’ve built some great friendships within the business. It’s a place where everyone pulls together, and that sense of teamwork and shared achievement makes Worksurfaces a great place to be.

Hi! I’m James Day, Account Manager in the Life Trade Sales Team and I’ve been with Life since March 2024. Day to day, I’m the first stop for our trade clients - helping to keep their projects efficient and cost-effective, providing technical guidance and making sure they get the very best from our products. What I love most is the team spirit here and that proud moment when a project comes together. 

I’ve been with the business for over 10 years now, starting as a Marketing Assistant and now in my role as Head of Trade Marketing. Alongside the team, I lead campaigns across everything from digital platforms to printed literature and advertising. The best part of my job is working with our talented marketing, design, and product teams to see new products and brands take shape – from the initial idea to a full campaign across social, PR, events and more. It’s always exciting to watch ideas come to life.

Over the past 38 years, I've had the privilege of building my career at PWS, working under four generations of the Stephenson family. I began my journey in Goods Inwards, before moving into the pick teams and later the Returns Department. From there, I spent time on the trade counter before stepping into the role that would define much of my career - Team Leader on the Despatch Team, a position I have held proudly for 25 years. 

I’ve been part of the IT team for the Danesmoor Group for just over 4 years now. My current title is BI Analyst (BI = Business Intelligence), where my focus is on supporting informed decision making across departments by making relevant data available to people who need it. A lot of my time is spent ensuring that our BI systems are running smoothly and efficiently so that people can receive automated operational reports.

I’ve been with Life for over three years, starting out as a factory operator and working my way up to my current role as a CAD Operator. I handle bespoke requests for cabinets, working closely with our northern and southern designers. The best part of working at Life has definitely been the people. I’ve made great friends across every department I’ve worked in, and I’m really grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to progress and develop within the business.
