The Warehouse Driver is the vital operational link in our internal supply chain, ensuring the safe, precise, and timely transport of raw materials, components, and finished goods between warehouse, production, and distribution points to support just-in-time manufacturing and meet dynamic customer demands.

By expertly loading, routing, unloading, and verifying every delivery, this role prevents costly production downtime, protects high-value inventory from damage or delay, and maintains full traceability and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. 

  • Material Transport: Safely load, transport, and unload raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods to and from production lines, storage areas, and external business units using company vehicles (vans, box trucks, or forklifts as required).
  • Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, and report mechanical issues promptly to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Product Tracking: Correctly use technology to book out and book in pallets/stillages on collection and delivery of manufacturing products.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate closely with warehouse, business units, and dispatch teams to prioritise urgent deliveries and adapt to real-time operational needs.
  • Safety Leadership: Adhere to all health, safety, and road traffic regulations; use proper lifting techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent workplace injuries.
  • Continuous Improvement Input: Identify recurring bottlenecks (e.g., dock congestion, packaging issues) and propose practical solutions to your line manager, contributing to measurable reductions in lead time and waste.


General Duties:
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out a range of general duties to support the smooth and efficient operation of the business. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to day-to-day tasks.


Working Hours
08.00hrs - 16.00hrs (Monday to Friday)
